CPS&L had a busy May!

The dust has settled on May and it has been very busy!

Main Street Yoga Install

We started with a premium QSC sound system install at Main Street Yoga. They went with 4 of QSC’s AD S6T 6″ 2-way mains and 1 QSC 12″ sub. Main St.’s Owner, Kellee Falkenstrom, her husband a bass player, told us they sometimes have live musicians so we ran the signal through a 10 channel Yamaha mixer into a QSC PLD4.2 digital processing amplifier. We set the time alignment and EQ curves for optimal sound in her space. They had a Bose system before and were amazed at the expansiveness and clarity of the new system! Pic’s to follow.

To check out Main Street’s system head up to Placerville, CA and take a class from one of their amazing instructors at 447 Main Street. Call them at (530) 748-3513

JAM Camp – Forgotten City 2015

Next on the agenda was to provide live sound reinforcement and DJ services for Mark Phinney’s “JAM Camp” in the Las Vegas desert at Forgotten City 2015. We set up our 16 channel Yamaha mixer and mic’d 8 drums through a Driverack PA2 and into two QSC KW181’s and two QSC KW153’s for an intense tribal drum session around an incredible bonfire. DJ Alek played a four hour tribal, deep and tech to tech house set while the drummers (now from the audience) continued to wail on those drum skins and the dancers paraded around the fire. The sound was everywhere!

Sacramento Bike Party

We were booked to provide sound, DJ and lighting for this all night private event. A great group of people attended and made for lasting memories. We received multiple complements about the amazing sound quality (two ea. KW181 / KW153 through a Driverack PA2).

See you next month!
